Greetings, all! I am a relative newcomer to the study of Roman history. Some years ago I took some university history courses at Capilano University in Vancouver, BC. I have read several books, and am currently enjoying "In The Name Of Rome" by Adrian Goldsworthy.
I am interested in Roman social, political and art history as well.
I work in Health Care, program a radio show, play the saxophone and waste much time on the PC playing the "Europa Barbarorum" mod for Rome:Total War.
Mars! Exultii!

Welcome to the forum fellow canuck.
Better put your real name in the forum, or the mods will start to bully you....
Have you decided to take up reenacting too, or just want to learn more about the ancients?
This is an excellent forum with a great number of helpful and , for the most part, highly knowledgeable individuals.
Have fun!
