The Emperor and the Legionaries

Quick curious question, partly which came up in one of my recent programs at Higgins:<br>

How would the Roman soldiers address the Emperor?<br>
Would they even address/salute him in the first place?<br>
<br>
As far as I know, it's generally agreed that as a regular soldier, addressing a superior [Centurion], whould be addressed as "Dominus"...What would the Emperor be referred to as, if there is even evidence of this?<br>
