Harry Patch the very last WWI Vet\' has died.

Where only recently we have mourned the lose of Henry Allingham the last WW I Royal Air Force veteran, we now have to say farewell to another great hero Harry Patch who was the very last soldier from what was known as the great war.

With the greatest of respect I salute him.

It was very revealing to hear his comments and opinion from the last interviews with him.
Really is the passing of an era.

Rest in much deserved peace Harry.
Thank you.

Not the last British born veteran though, Claude Choules, ex-RN, is still going.
