Hello, finally putting this kit together.
I am getting back into horse archery and would like to present a C5th century impression.
Been having a look about and trying to work out just what I need to do. Have had a look at Comitatus and think they have a great look and skill set going on.
Have some bits and pieces that I have picked up over the years. A Hun bow, Deepeka cavalry helmet and finished my spatha today.
I have some plans for a Steppe type saddle and intend to build one.
I guess if anyone would like to help and point me towards clothing options? That would be a great help. Colours for instance? Can I use blue, green or maroon wool for the tunic/ trousers? What sort of pattern for the trousers?
I can make a submarlis, but what thickness leather should I use for the Pteruges?
Are these boots ok to use?

Sorry for the disjointed nature of my questions.
