M. Sage, The Republican Roman Army: A Sourcebook

Many here probably own a copy of M. Sage's Warfare in Acient Greece: A Sourcebook (Routledge). I have found this to be a very useful collection of sources in translation. A review of his follow up, The Republican Roman Army: A Sourcebook, can be read here:

Again, it is a useful collection, but unlike Warfare in Ancient Greece, it lacks a handy index of passages cited, and, as pointed out by Jeremy Armstrong in his BMCR review, "the sheer amount of commentary within the sourcebook often threatens overwhelm the ancient sources themselves (the ratio of commentary to ancient text in the sourcebook is well above 1:1)."
