Herouvillette blacksmith ...help.
#1
Merovingian rather than Roman...

A long time ago I went to the museum at Caen and took some pictures of the blacksmiths burial from Herouvillette. A splendid find for weapons and tools.

Anyway, it seems that I've lost the pictures so if anyone has some that they'd be able to share with me I'd be most grateful.

If there's a decent finds report with archaeological drawings of the artefacts and info on the burial, that'd be fantastic too.

Pfff..they're only barbarians...how bad could it get, really?
Stick them all on an island, that should do it.

Besides, you can get them to fight the Picts for you. With a little luck they'll all kill each other and you'll never have to pay them.

Great idea! How about Thanet? Close to the main ferry ports and the shops of Londinium, but a nice distance from our villas at Corinium too.

Hailog, Hengist,

I was wondering if you'd bring your daughter Rowena along. Stories claim she's very good at pouring a mug of wine.
Let me know, and I'll catch the next boat from "new Maine," just across the Pond.
