Praesidium and some other stuff
#1
I have uploaded three more of my papers to Scribd for those who might be interested. These cover the oft-discussed and contentious issues of garrisoning, production, and typology and are as follows:

Praesidium: social, military, and logistical aspects of the Roman army's provincial distribution during the early principate

The military fabrica and the production of arms in the early principate

"The evolution of certain features"

The last two are scans of the originals but the first has been re-set in my font of the moment, Gentium, which not only looks good and is free, but is also open source, so goes well with the Creative Commons licence, I feel. Special thanks are due to John Humphrey of JRA for helping me realise this project.

Enjoy.
