Zonaras, from Alexander Severus to Theodosius.
#1
I just bought The History of Zonaras. From Alexander Severus to the Death of Theodosius the Great by Thomas Banchich and Eugene Lane, which appeared a couple of months ago. It costs some 80 euro, but it offers a nice translation and excellent commentaries, often quoting other authors. I am very happy with it. For once, I do not feel cheated when I buy a book.

Zonaras is an interesting source, but one really needs to be careful with his chronology. I've not seen the edition to which you are referring; nevertheless, happy readings!
