Guys,

I have just seen on Amazon a bio of Zenobia by Pat Southern. Has anyone read it or even seem it reviewed anywhere?

Here's one review (but by the author of the other biography of Zenobia). I haven't read either book.

I have not checked this forum frequently since 2013, but I hope that these old posts have some value. I now have a blog on books, swords, and the curious things humans do with them.

Thanks. based on that review, I'll give it a miss. I have read two of Southern's books and found neither of them terribly readable. That is not to say they are not good books. Rather, they are written for scholars interested in following the academic arguments about the subjects in question.

However, your link did put me onto a Zenobia website! Thanks.
