free web site hosts

Hello,

Over the past 6 months I have been unable to fund our group's web site with hosting fees etc. I have tried using freewebs but found this quite limiting and user unfriendly.

Does anybody out there know of any good free web hosts etc that are user friendly so that our group may have some 'cyber space' presence?

Any help mostly appreciated.

Have you investigated Google site hosting? I haven't used them, but I'm told that their free hosting is not too bad.

Thanks, just checked it out and due to a heavy demand they have temporarily closed the doors to new sign-ups.

Has anybody used free web hosts for their group pages, and if so which ones? I would really like to have our page up and running again.

I've used yahoo!geocities in the past...it's ok. If your website is done well, and you can ignore the advertisements, then they're not bad.

Using the free webs at the moment I am about to throw my laptop at the wall. It is hopeless. Its just not coming up in they way it should when I publish it.

Duh. I should have suggested that...lol. I'm using RA.com to host my site as well...i'd recommend that. Contact Jasper and he can work something out with you.
