Cavalry equipment of the first century A.D.

I have added my 1988 paper on cavalry equipment to my scribd.com documents. Thanks are due to Chris Tucker, who took a lot of trouble to scan and OCR it accurately, not least for his patience in not reminding me that it has taken until now, eight months later, for me to edit it into shape and publish it as a PDF. The text is fully searchable and will presumably be indexed by search engines in due course.

Where is available a cronology for each of the pendants types? Here (Tarragona) we have found at least 3 exemplars of lunullae pendants, and if possible, want to give them a precisse datation...
