Hi all
I got a Phrygian, and I think it is based in something like the one I put on attached files. It is from Axel Guttmann collection. The shape is not correct, if you see the upper part, in the deepeeka helmet is smaller than the original (that is not good if you want to attach a crest for example), and the cheekpieces are too big, and don't fit correctly to the face (but you always can put it off). You can see how it looks like in my avatar and in "show here your greek warrior impression" post.
But anyway, is not easy to find a good phrygian, manning imperial does a wonderful one with a base price of 830$. My Phrygian was 100 €, what more can I ask? The deepeeka one with some modifications does't look too bad.
I am also a student, and that was my reason too

Quote:It looking correct is more important to me than the way it was fabricated, because I'm not willing to spend ten times the amount that these two helmets cost. I'm just a poor student you know.
