And a preliminary program is there, now. (only in spanish)

That year Legio Prima Germanica will made two shows:

-The recreation of a statio, or postal place, with two fully equiped horses and a contubernium sized roman patrol.

-The recreation of a Late Roman group of people who makes a hunting. With the help of Cohors Prima Gallica!

Just a fresh photo from Calahorra, that may ilustrate such wealthy and prosperous family

-This new learning amazes me, Sir Bedevere. Explain again how
sheep´s bladders may be employed to prevent earthquakes.

We had enough rain in the last "Tarraco Viva". We were unable to watch Prima Germanica´s exhibition due to an wadi with water and without bridge. Confusedhock:

Here goes the first gallery:

It only covers the show at Centcelles "Nobilissimus dominus meus" of the Legio I Germanica and the Cohors Prima Gallica. One of the biggest gathering of decadent late romans (near 25), I suspect. Sadly, as we were "working" we were unable to attend most of the reenactment festival Sad but those things happens...

A landowner receives in his palace an envoy of the emperor to discuss how to reconquest part of Hispania from the barbarians. After the work, the guest is honoured with a hunt.

Aitor, and the two reasons for his absence from RAT

Inside the villa, and under the big cupula. The only one at this half of the Empire.

Preparing the great hunt, as its shown on the mosaics of the cupula

My short (and fast) career as late Roman stag reenactor, ended by Aitor

Yes, I can see from Aitors expression that he has his hands full. Literally and figuratively!!
Visne partem mei capere? Comminus agamus! * Me semper rogo, Quid faceret Iulius Caesar? * Confidence is a good thing! Overconfidence is too much of a good thing.
