First pictures of new Roman movie "Agora"

The sets look pretty impressive, however, I think I see the usual Italian leather 1st century outfits on those legionnaries in the first pic, if I'm not mistaken (hard to tell, it's pretty far away). Sigh...
Nevertheless, I think it's refreshing that they are making a Roman epic on a subject (Hypatia of Alexandria) that hasn't been made and remade numerous times before.

On this new web site they list the character Hypatia as being an atheist, which is, to my understanding, the modern usage of this word. To the ancient Romans the Christians were the atheists, believing as they did in only one god.

Looks like it could be good -- as always time will tell.

Wouldn't that make them monotheists rather than atheists?
Well, atheists is at least better than 'pagan' or something equally derogatory. Will her grisly end at the hands of the unruly mob of Alexandrine monks also be in the movie?
