I must admit I'm very glad to see the back of 2008 :evil:
If I didn't know any better, I'd believe in curses. I wasn't directly affected myself but I saw a lot of bad luck befall others.
However, because of this, it was a year in which I and many others learned a lot about life, the Universe and everything in it, and I'm very grateful for that.
So, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

- two Roman figures (one is the Praetorian - vexillarius with a horse and a vexillum and one is a legionair, throwing his pillum :-) )
- Czech book about an Ancient military city - Sparta (Spartan army), translation from English
- 4 GB Flash drive
- a replica of ACU (army combat uniform) with a t-shirt, patrol cap, belt, also with distinctions
- boots, t - shirts, socks and other gifts

I got several fun things.
A new New Zealand All Black Rugby Jersey
The first three Simon Scarrow books about the 2nd legion in Britain.
A new 1st century spearhead and javelin (much to the delight of my father who enjoyed playing with them as much as I did.)
And some new bog shoes.
