medical tools
#1
in search of information for my thesis
about the value of the roman medicus,
I was looking for some basic information
about the medical tools used by the romans,
such as the precize use of a scalp etc.
i've already found the basic tools but
can't find many valuable information about them.
I heard Roy W Davies wrote some pretty nice books
about it but it's kinda hard to find a dutch translation of them.

thanks=)
gratias vobis ago,

Valete,

Why not have a look at my list of articles/books on Roman medicine:

I'd try an English or German translation of Aulus Cornelius Celsus, De Medicina for starters :-) )

It's Flemish :wink:

Belgian does not exist as a language. We all speak dutch, although with different accents.

Thank you for posting the link! The thesis was written at the university where I studied archaeology, but I didn't know of it.
