Just on a strap which runs around the neck. The torques themselves are just 'hooked' into the phalerae harness to keep them in place.

I don't mean to hijack this thread... maybe merely a momentary interlude :wink:

This thread has brought to question something... I am curious about is the lengths and bottom trim of the Hamata...

I see some of the new ones from Keltica Authentic line being mid-thigh length in 6mm and 8mm...(Like Edges)
... and I also see the ones that have the contoured -leather edged bottoms like Fatalis'.

Can someone please elaborate on the differences?

Aesthetically, I am leaning towards the one that Fatalis and Flavius Crispus are sporting.

I am ready to upgrade, but I want to upgrade to the right hamata for XXI
