The Sisak Gallic C is a thing of Beauty!!!
All of them are a great price for a hand-hammered and raised helmet.
The F neck guard is not quite right though  I actually think the Deepeeka Gallic F helmet is more accurate. They use the correct iron ear guards too!

Yeah, I agree, I would love those 2, with the crest to go with them. The neck guard does look funny on the f but thought it was perhaps just me!
Hmmmmmm, I wonder if the ear hole/guard positions will be suitable for me....

I imagine that amount of work could double the cost of the helmet in man hours alone. Maybe they're trying to keep the cost down?

Brian Stobbs did a repro of the 'D', and it does indeed have the chevrons running the entire browband.
I would imagine it was indeed, a way to keep cost down.
It was the most difficult part of the helmet, Brian said!

It certainly is, although the cheek guards, the eyebrows, and, to a lesser degree, the shape of the bowl differ from the original.

Jef. The armamentarium web shows not a drawing, it is the tinted photograph taken by Dr. Ludwic Lindenschmit. The reproduction by Konig has not followed the writings of Lindenschmit at all.

Below are the links to the helmet Brian Stobbs made. All the rosettes on this helmet are silver and the edging has a "rope" like design. Lindenschmit mentions that the left cheek piece with the brass rossettes was a replacement since the right cheekpiece has the same rossettes as are present on the rest of the bowl. I also included a photo of the same reconstructed helmet with the cheekpiece containing brass rosettes.
Brian Stobbs, in my opinion, has truly mastered this helmet.

I am not taking away anything from Konig who in my opinion is an excellent craftsman but we must also recognize others who are capable of the art as well.

Of course we musn't but I recall there is a thread on Brian's one off helmet in RAT already! I think I already mentioned the fact Brian has made a reproduction already. I would love a helmet made by Brian too
The fact that these helmets can be ordered and made for you is a
the reason I posted this link.
