Hi there guys,
me, a "Kraut"Smile
needs help on Roman Army Tactics,
well not really help-i am looking for a nice person that could help me translate some "interesting thoughts" about Roman Army Tactics from German into English.
I want to go .com with this, to let the english speaking community participate.
Anyone here interested in "making History" instead of talking about it?Smile
Its also not really translating-i ll give you an idea what i want to say and you would correct it into "perfect military english".
Maybe nonsense-maybe sensation-lets find out?
By the way-thanks for this great site and your interests on roman history.
sincerely

You need a translation of what you've already decided, or need to find out some actual facts?

You have a few days to put your real name in your signature somewhere, or you'll be banned or restricted. RAT rules

News are on the way-
All done-Translation needed becouse its to serious to fool around.
New Aspects on Armour ,Fortification and Tactic-
Europe is busy with turning coins around and around-i am looking for someone who is openminded and curious-perfect would be also being an reenactor.
Its not just grazy thoughts, its a military analysis of stuff that already filled thousands of books-buuuut, as far as i can see so far-maybe some has to be rewritten-u dont believe?-lets seeSmile
Junkelmann is busy playing Gladiator-while i am going to proof that the Roman Army was better then they all thought.
I do need help on this by an english speaking military enthusiast.
German Version of part one is ready. Going to post this around X-mas as-call it a gift-to the roman community.
Would be sad if u people cant read it-or if it gets scrued up while getting translated. I do all the work-i need someone to find the same smart terms i used in german and help me get into the same meanings in english.
Whoever does this can decide if his name runs with the translation-if its nonsense-my name-my risk-u smile and drop the project-if u like it-ure the person which claims the translation into english version-so no risk-fair? All i expect is secrecy and decency before "WE" go public.
Lets see who is grazy enough and tries to turn the Roman World upside down, well-lets say turn it where it maybe belongsSmile
Part One:
The ultimate fi... fo..........n in human military historySmile
Field Experiment (Proof) is planned for 1rst Quarter 2009 with german army reserve members.
Dont overestimate all i said-maybe i just had a sad childhoodSmile
I dont earn money on this-its all for the legions-and free to all of you!!
Ok-i admit-i cant wait to see the faces of our scientists.
