Near Maastricht, an amateur archeologist has found about 30 celtic coins from the first century BC. Prof. Dr. Roymans of the ACVU followed with a bigger excavation of the area and a total of 109 coins (including 39 golden ones) are found. The other 70 were of Silver. Probably they are from Eburonic origin.
