Greetings all, first off please do not attack me or kill me as I come from the lands far north of the second wall built by Antonius Pius and live near to the site of the battle of Mons Graupius.

Unfortunately there isn't much re-enactment up this way otherwise I would have taken part in it if I could have.

Anyways I signed up to this forum as I have an interest in Leatherwork and was pointed this way by another forum that I am on. My other interest is into the Roman Army, siege tactics, defences etc. I have been looking for De Rei Militari part 4 however I have never been able to find it. I have the first 3 parts plus the Roman Handbook which seems to be based on it.

Andy, you would be suprised by how much reenactment there is in Aberdeen/shire..

Roman stuff yeh not so much, but there are a few of us, i think we've got about 8 or 9 members now (we have a few people who've only came to a few events), we're be more than happy to have you along to an event!!

In terms of our events and stuff we have one at the end of october its the last one of the season for us called "the wickerman" its a BRILLIANT day! we have plenty of spare kit for new members, so dont worry about that
