I have seen a number of original semi circular cloaks of paenula type none of which have any circular holes. There does not appear to be any need for them.

Yup, the ones you show in your Vol. 1 have always bugged me! Have to encourage someone in my group to experiment, and find out how the darn things are supposed to work.

Otherwise I think you are inventing something which did not exist...

Always a danger. Though the way we were doing it with a neck hole was working fine until you dragged in all that archeological information! So it's all your fault, hee hee hee...
