I wish you good luck with getting members and keeping it active! It's more difficult than you'd think.
A lot of success!

Yes, good luck to the new forum. It will be interesting to see the level of interest. There do seem to be a number of forums for re-enactors out there. But few seem to contain useful information. If something of RAT rubs off on the new forum, it would be a good thing.

It is hard work to run groups and get new recruits, but Comitatus seems to be in a purple patch. I hope some of our new members sign up to RAT.

You might announce the forum on the Segontium Yahoo group. There are a few people there who might like the format, and the interchange. For some reason, though, there are not too many Late Romans in the US.

Best of everything to the new venture. (Hey, I even signed up!)

(edit: I went ahead and announced the forum on the yahoo group)

I do Late Roman and have my own group, however I would like to see more people do Eastern Roman. Nice job with the forum.

I joined!

Sorry for being gone lately as I had my life turned upside down this past May. I'm having to move (ugh, AGAIN) all the way back to Atlanta in a few weeks (a city where I haven't lived for some 25 years) and it pretty much killed my chances of getting my Late Roman uniform in order.
