BORAX is a fire retardant! A fabric whitener.. Also a bug killer. Also a fertilizer which means if your flat surface is a lawn... or drains into your lansdcape... used to fire proof kids clothes.

Boraxo soap is an easy to find form.

Hib, so I get this right (and the wifey buys off on a tent purchase) I can fertilize the lawn, pesticide it too, do the whites that day for her AND fireproof the kids clothes all at the same time! By gods Hib you are the man!!
