I was curious to find out if there are any documented instances where some kind of strap end was placed on the skinny end (opposite the buckle) of a balteus? Thanks in advance.

There's a phallic strap end from the mid to late First Century. We sell a repro.

In one tomb of Spain, have found one set of aprons terminals. There are 4 with a lunulla terminal anf one of big tear drop shape. One hipotesis was that the single one was used as strap end of the belt, instead of be a apron teminal.
The set was found in Aznalcazar (Sevilla). I have made one repro of them.
