Would this pair of sandals be good for my Greek impression?

I want to do an impression of a Alexander hypaspist and a classical Athenian hoplite.

I've been looking for a good pair of sandals to start my impression. Unfortunately, PAR Fabrica doesn't have anything that would work. I found these on a google search and was wondering if they would pass inspection:

They have a raised heel - which is wrong. They have a buckle - which is wrong. The style is sympathetic, but nothing more. I would warrant a good guess that the sole is synthetic, which is wrong .... between the 5th and 4th centuries there was a shift between having a toe cutout and not having one - so is you are trying to go for a 'classical' hoplite and an alexandrian representation as well, but only have one pair of footware I would suggest an earlier design?

Thanks for the input. I'll take a look at that thread above.

My problem is that I'm not handy at all; and can't make my own. I haven't found a vendor yet that makes a good pair of greek sandals I can buy. Depeeka makes some but I don't know how good they are.

If anyone knows of a vendor of good Greek sandals or has any reviews of the Depeeka sandals please let me know. Thanks
