My wife is going to visit Crete for in about a week.
I would like to have here buy some ancient looking pottery...
Does anybody know where to get this?
My interrest goes especialy towards Kylix like cups, because these have been found in Celtic graves throughout the first 4 centuries BC..
but other vesels and or pottery would be fine to...
Ore does anybody know other ancient greek replicas to find there,
that might be of my interrest?

I don't know specific places where she can buy accurate pottery, but what I know is that she'll get lost in the amount of whatever kind of pottery she'll find there. Most of them will have some ancient-like desigh and painting, but if your wife is not well familiar to what is accurate and what not,it's most probable she'll bring back something not so good for your purpose. Accurate stuff is always very expensive compared to the rest and usually have a card saying they're exact replicas. Such shops can be found among touristic shops or some times near archaeological places. In fact there are some specific official shops where you can buy accurate reproductions. There is one in Vergina, one in Acropolis and some few in other famous sites. Knossos could have one of those, but I'm not sure. Those shops I think belong to the ministry of culture and you can find some exciting reproductions, from jewels to statues and vases.

As Giannis already posted, you'll find shops near every touristic shops. Have a look for plumbed pottery, they are reproductions (even if the paintings are not always so exactly...).
There is a good museums shop in Heraklion with exact replicas. I've found the shop in Knossos a little bit dissapointing, but that was 7 years ago :-) )

Yes these prises are indeed crazy, but just a little simple Kylix if we can find one would be affordable...
