Another question for you guys, is there any good sites / articles / journals I can look up in order to research individual soldiers? I know there wont be many records for a majority of them, but it'd be quite cool for choosing an actual roman name to have some back story to my character!

Check the imagebase on the mainsite. In this there are many gravestones of Roman soldiers, which is the best source for soldiers names.

There is a great book called [amazon]The People of Roman Britain[/amazon] by Tony Birley (1980). You might find a second-hand copy. It listed all the named individuals from Britannia -- fascinating stuff!
