Bull-Tattoo Help
#1
Hi,
I am looking for ancient iconography for my future tatoed bull.
I already have my bith sign (libra) as a black Omega on my left chest.
On my right I want to ad my ascendant (taurus) as the head of a bull lookin to the front.
Later I might want to have the standing or charging body of the bull as a tatto underarm and onto my back.

As I dont want to use color or a to "lifelike" depiction, I am looking for Greek and Roman heraldry or genuine Celtic, Germanic, Scythian or Thracian iconography to find "my" Taurus.

Any links or pictures of bull heads or complete bulls would be very helpfull.

Have you tried doing some image searches online? ie bull tattoo / roman bull etc

There's a cool looking tribal bull tattoo that showed up but not the kind you're after.

Good luck!

I did a lot of online searches already, but as you said most tattoo pics are to modern for my tastes.
I also had the idea about coins, but didnt find anything suitable there.

There are some usable hoplite schield patterns using bull heads, but those shown online arent very detailed so I am still looking for anybody that can provide close ups of them on pottery.

Some roman vexillia of Cesarian legions are said to have the bull as an emblem, but I dindt find out much about that also.
And barbaric iconography seems even more difficult to find.
