This is something I've been thinking about for a while. Which website(s) would you recommend as providing a balanced source of Ancient and Roman history?

For me, the first stop is www.livius.org - what a wonderful source of information and, of course www.romanarmy.com (ok, I'm angling for a free subscription to Ancient Warfare Magazine :oops: )...

There are many great ones out there. Besides the ones you already mentioned, here are two that I really like.

I've used Bill Thayer's site hundreds of times.
