There are more injuries in English Sunday League football than in rugby. If you think it's bad now, you should've seen how footie was played more than 20 years ago - they didn't call Liverpool's Tommy Smith 'The Aintree Iron' for nothing, and heading the ball left stars in your eyes. :wink:

No one like good old Keano..that assassination attempt on Alfie Haaland just sums him up...pure irish aggression.
As for sunday league games..worse than any war..a few months ago we had a 18 man brawl,with fists,boots and all.Hehe 5 sent off,3 yellows and a week of coverage on the local radio!!Lost my boot too..apparently it hit the ref on the noseChopper Harris would have been put to shame!
