GENERATIONES – Rome\'s soldiers
#1
Our online project has hatched into an exhibition on the development of the Roman military through history on display at the new fabrica of the Saalburg:

As you can see, at the moment we're not taking on any new members ;-) )

(PS: sorry for advertising our own stuff... )

Visited the exhibition yesterday with my children.

It is very well made and was great fun! I particularly liked the photo you show in your post and the two short videos of soldiers arming. My children of course were particularly fascinated by the tin figure dioramas.

LAUDES!

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII Like it 8)
"The Kaiser knows the Munsters,
by the Shamrock on their caps,
And the famous Bengal Tiger, ever ready for a scrap,
And all his big battalions, Prussian Guards and grenadiers,
Fear to face the flashing bayonets of the Munster Fusiliers."
