Ah yes. One can hear guests singing the refrain from Disney's new theme song all over the park here in Anaheim:

"It's a Brave New World after all."

(I've disliked those little singing dolls every since I first rode through It's A Small World at the 1964 World's Fair in New York  That song is like the Andromeda Strain -- once it is in your head you can never get rid of it. Never!)

Go on, relive it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqTyBBit7NI

They are creepy. I rode the thing about 12 times last year. The eyes are dead, but I think a good B-movie could be made with them coming to life!

You rode through that 12 times!?!

Confusedhock: Cry :x evil: :? shock:

As Colonel Kurtz said, "The horror....the horror..."

Kat -- you are both cruel and unusual (and very funny).

A "B" movie you say...hmmmm, I think Saturday Night Live did something along these lines already...

VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED LITTLE RASCALS: Evil mind-controlling Little Rascals murder the townspeople while sitting through class with nervous Miss Crabtree. (Candy, Belushi, Duke, Gross, Kazurinsky, Louis-Dreyfus, Murphy, Piscopo)

And then of course there is the original...

12 times over 5 days or so. Not in a row. I'd be confined to a padded room by now if that were the case!

Wow it's like you really know me Confusedhock: Ummm thanks? I'll add that to my other previous compliments of "you are beautifully twisted" and "there's something evil about your eyes" :? lol:

Haha Village of the Damned was so eerie. I've never viewed kids in the same way since. This is why I'm wary of It's A Small World:- evil puppets! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4waZA3OJX5I

Ah yes Puppet Master...

How these master pieces of cinematic art were overlooked at Oscar time I will never understand.

Godfather, Raging Bull, The Departed, Patton, Shakespeare in Love, none of these "Best Picture" winners even come close to the art, the magic, the unadulterated story telling power of Puppet Master, or any of the other Full Moon pictures.

And then there are the Hammer films also ignored -- a true crime against art and humanity. :x

I have a good mind to walk right over to Disneyland and take a ride through a Small World.

(By Jove I have gone insane :? )
