New run time is 171 minutes (up from 155) and this version was released back in 2005.

All deleted scenes are reintegrated into the film. The extended scenes / dialogue now make more sense. We now know why Commodus says "I'm so terribly vexed." ? Connie Nielson's role is much larger now - I'd say almost twice as large.

I don't know if there's a Blu-Ray copy out.
