WOW! Awesome, well done! Very clever!

Did you modify pieces and add bits?

Very cool!

Did they really? I know that one guy made up his own, with a box and everything. It had the lego logo on it but it was never really lego. It was a gladiator set i think.

I modified a lot. Mixed and matched to make weapons, and found lots of stickers/decals available online. It was a fun project

Haha I can imagine. I was a particular big fan of lego during childhood and early teenagehood lol. Would probably still go for it these days if I had the time.

I'm not certain they ever did, at least not here in the US. Knights, Vikings and a few years ago Samurai/Ninja, but I do not remember ancient Romans, Greeks or Egyptians.

No doubt if Lego did release those sets they would be an instant hit.

Nice!!quite impressive!
Out of sight of subject shores, we kept even our eyes free from the defilement of tyranny. We, the most distant dwellers upon earth, the last of the free, have been shielded till today by our very remoteness and by the obscurity in which it has shrouded our name.

That's really awesome. I grew up with lego and just recently packed it away ... I always wanted a lego legion.

What fun and very clever.

I used to have the Airfix Romans years and years ago...

Very cool! I can't imagine much of anything that would be cooler than an entire legion made up of lego men...
