Anyone near Eichstätt
#1
Anyone near Eichstätt?

I'm looking for a decent colour photo of ILS 5338 (AE 1899, 195), which is a building inscription from the fort at Böhming.

(Apparently, it's in the Eichstätt Mus. f. Ur-/Frühgesch.)

There is a colour picture here:

[url:h9ukw9dh]http://edh12.iaw.uni-heidelberg.de/offen/suchen2.html?hdnr=016201

but I can't open it from my PC. I can check if I have access to the pic from a PC at the CIL or maybe you can get access via a Uni computer:

The hp of the CIL ( [url:h9ukw9dh]http://cil.bbaw.de/dateien/cil_pgsql_query.php?PHPSESSID=e31c99e23334df9940141a55a0db6129 ) lists this book:

Saxer, Robert
Untersuchungen zu den Vexillationen des römischen Kaiserheeres von Augustus bis Diokletian. (Beihefte der Bonner Jahrbücher; Band 18)(Epigraphische Studien; 1)
Köln; Graz: Böhlau 1967.
S. 86 f. Nr. 256

maybe you find a pic there (I know it's in the office so I can check next week if you want me to)

Yes -- I noticed the reference to that photo, but I couldn't open it either. "Access Forbidden!"

(btw As far as I recall, Saxer doesn't have any pictures ... does he?!)

The mouse-over text says 'digital image not yet available'.
