Do I see it right that you are one of the organizers of the event? Me and two of my fellowmen will be there, too, under the flag of the Ask-Alamannen. Do you know if the organizers can provide some wood (young tree shafts) for tentpoles? We send a small container with our gear, but it is too short for long poles. Who can I ask in Shvishtov? Is there wild nature nearby, where we can cut some poles?

We are very excited! We've spoken to the folks in Bulgaria and will be able to go to the festival as Roman traders.
We have been asked what extra weight we may be carrying. We are only planning on bringing ourselves, a few small accessories, and garb. If there are any reenactors that may have been wanting something and don't wish to deal with customs, taxes, etc. please let us know and we will do our best to bring them with us. But let us know very soon.
We are really looking forward to meeting everyone in June!
