There is a new exhibit coming to the Badisches Landesmuseum in Karlsruhe, in case any of you want to mark your calenders for the future. It is Hannibal ad Portas: the power and wealth of Carthage, which starts 25 Sept 2004 till 30 Jan 2005. Among the items on exhibit will be the highly decorated triple disc cuirass from the Bardo Museum. This is often thought to be from the tomb of one of Hannibal's Italic veterans, but it is probably from the previous century.<br>
