I am trying to fing the original latin quote from Josephus regarding the preparations for battle. I have the translated text but not the original latin
Then does the crier stand at the general's right hand, and asks them thrice in their own tongue, whether they be now ready to go out to war or not? To which they reply as often, with a loud and cheerful voice, saying, 'We are ready'.
I am looking to use this in our displays so it's the request and the response, that are important. Any help gratefully received>
