Montvert book justinian wars
#1
A few years ago I was fortunate to read Montvert's book Justinian wars. In this book a Roman cataphract with mail armour reaching to the ankles could be seen on one of the colour plates. The armour could be rolled up for ease of riding.
Does this armour correspond with history?
Unfortunately the book is way to expensive now to buy it, so I would like to ask if someone who owns the book can scan me the colour plate on which the cataphract is depicted.
Thanks
greetings
Philip

Hi Philip,
If no-one has sent you the scan yet just send me a private message with your email address and I'll scan the page tomorrow and email it - it may be too big to post here.
