Armor books in colour?

Are there any good books showing colour photos of each of the REAL helmets?? To me, it seems you can learn a LOT more looking at pix of the real thing then somebody's repro!<br>

I have had something like that in mind for a long time, but it is a legality issue. Technically you need to have written permission from every museum that owns the artifacts, and many directors are very difficult, or do not even answer inquiries.<br>

If someone knows a "legal" way to get around this, let me know.<br>
