Hi

I tried contacting someone about this but to no avail. Does anyone know if there's a Roman event in Basingstoke this May? I heard there was but haven't been able to find what group/s are involved and when it is.

Hi,
I vaguely remember being asked to trade at some Gladiator show in that area for may. I'll see if I can dig out the details later and I'll post them up.

I've just found out from another forum that this event has now had to be cancelled due to the support that was supposed to have been coming from 'outside agencies' no materialising. They said this was not due to any reenactors or traders and thanked them for their support. Sad
