Lamellar Lorica Squamata
#1
Ave!

Not long ago I have registered to this site, because maybe you can answer the question I was searching for a while.

It's about lamellar lorica sqamata.
I have a picture showing a scale mail, that was wired together. I am interested in a laced version of it, but still hasn't found any proof if it existed or not.
Which century did they use it?

I'm interested in it, because it was way stiffer than riveted scale mails.
Plus, if I can find a proper lamellar style, it can be used not just in gladiator fights, but in medieval performances.
I was told that a kind of birka lamellar [top row, fifth from the left (birka 5)] was that type, but i really don't know.

Any comments are appreciated.
