Sorry, but I didn´t understand ESG nor MBE
hock:
After years interested in WW aviation I´m still confused with those British awards
Great news!
twisted: )
But here in Spain we have still a lot of work to do...The doen´t see this as a serious, educative, and runned by non-proffesional (no one lives from) activity. We are still freaks  with disguises  (but with weapons  )
Recently I was shoked by a comment on a new about a battle reenactment in Tudela (1808)
somebody was asking if there were no better way of promoting the tourism than the Town Hall "paying expensive clothes and weapons" to some people, "just for a day"
Well, myself and a friend spent (each) 30 euro to go and another 30 to eat, there.
And if a Town Hall has money to pay the Napoleonic equipment of:
-150 foot.
-10 Cav.
-6X4 pounders.
-Thousands of shots fired.
I´ll go to live there, sorry!
The truth was that the people was for food and bed, and little more (Fun!)
I hope that with the Bicentenary of the Spanish Independence War 1808-1814(Peninsular War for most of you) things will change. The Zaragoza´s International Expo, will feature the French Sieges (both) reenactment.
It can be a turning point...
-This new learning amazes me, Sir Bedevere. Explain again how
sheep´s bladders may be employed to prevent earthquakes.
