Quality Historical Replica by Museum Replicas

Here is an example of a completely accurate historical piece by Museum Replicas. Definately museum quality. Found this while searching and thought it might be good for a laugh.

Yes, cool.
Just a little bit annoying in the final stage.

I'm struggling here. Not Gort, Robbie the Robot or a Cyberman. But it looks so familiar from some sci-fi show. Can anyone get closer?

.....and I to my boyhood, when the highlight of the week was to run down to the newsagent and get the "Lion" comic ( which was printed on newsprint quality paper, though partly in colour), and the "Eagle" ( all colour, glossy paper...much more expensive). "Lion" had wonderful 'see-through' drawings of famous aircraft that were exquisitely drawn.....I can still recall the fresh newsprint smell !! Thanks for the memory, Henk !
