Hello friends!!!the hoplite i posted before reworked from the start and finished except some work on the base and the breast plate armour.needs some weathering too but basically this is it.would like to hear your comments and critique

Jeroen hello .here is how i did it
basic undercoat WACO ACRYLIC ROT GOLD mixed with black

shadows first burnt umber next 2 with black all acrylics

lights first light basic under coat +glorious gold vallejo
second light + gold model air vallejo
final highlights with gold printers ink

Just one question tho'...would that type of crest not be mounted transversly? Just curious, as it looks like it would be more natural the other way. Smile

about the crest i think both ways are right .on the artbox of the figure it was like that way .
i ve seen plates on pottery with both ways too so i guess its right .i havent done much research maybe someone who knows better could shed a light on this subject.
