well for that price i would not expect anything less, and in my view they should at least throw 1 proper household slave into the bargain!

Here's a slightly older article:

ah!! guess i got lost in sheperd's bush there for a min........

well having read the other article Susanne posted, i do have sum ideas what i would have done if I had the money....

first excavate the site and surroundings thoroughly.....

then rebuild the bath house making clear which parts are original Roman parts and which ones are modern...... (make it a working bath house like Xanten)

then build a small museum on the site, and a Roman reconstructed castra or castellum (wooden fence and wooden barracks) where Roman re-enactment societies can book weekends and weeks, cooking , living, sleeping and training on the site (includig displays) and then charge the public admission to the only true Roman enclave where Romans live every day the year round!!

Then i would build a small Roman Domus for myself on site, partly open to the public (like those big estates also have)

ah, and a small amfitheatre..... for gladiatorial groups...

must be possible on 4.5 Ha (acres)

RE-ENACTOR' S HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
