FU Berlin Digital Dissertations : One good news One bad ....
#1
While goin' fishing in the Internet I ran into this ....
http://www.diss.fu-berlin.de/2007/118/kap2.pdf
Hey, I said to myself .... there may be more --
so I got into this:
http://www.diss.fu-berlin.de/2007/118/
No archeological topic here ??
And, randomly typing in/playing around with ...numbers I finally ran into this :
http://www.diss.fu-berlin.de/2005/100/
Claudia Swart :
Analyse römischer Ziegel mit ICP-OES/-MS
Methodenvergleich zwischen RFA und ICP
Analysis of Roman bricks with ICP-AES/-MS

Now the good news is: finally something useful for the ones seriously interested in such topics.
But the bad news is: how can I find further similar essays/dissertations ?

I shall go on with fishing as my leisure alows it, keeping you informed here.
For others joining in: Happy hunting.

Heureka ?!
Tryin' to work around the aforementioned problem (?!) I ran into this :

http://jorge.ub.fu-berlin.de/work/DissSearch

The searching-machine for FU-Berlin dissertations

...and ...

http://metager.de/index-hss.html Smile

...that seem to be a searching machine with a special section for the HSS (Hochschul Schriften Server -- University Scripts' Server) in german,
seemingly covering German, Austrian and Swiss Dissertations alike.

My search will go on ( no that's not from "Titanic" !)
