Perhaps this is too small, (or too big) but would it be possible to have data bases for all the various equipment types, also split into different cultures etc?
Such as Roman: Swords, Helmets, armour, dagger
Greek: etc
Carthaginian:
Pathian:
Sasanian:
Etruscan:
Germanic:
Celtic:
etc
I have seen a book on Celtic armoutr and weapons which had amazing artifacts thet I never new existed, and have never seen on here either..
And as has been pointed out, there are over a thousand greek helmet alone...
