RAT Gift exchange DRAWING 11/10/07
#16
Idea! If you want to be partnered up with someone closer to you to save on post fees, we can do that. Just have a separate name drawing. Please advise in your post if you want to be paired with someone closer.

I can do the drawing and such to keep the moderators from having another task.......

Yep, but I am really struggling with that Demetrius. I will keep trying tho'.

Welllll, you could always get me a job out there as a safety advisor, then there would be 2 of us..... Tongue

In an attempt to keep order, the names will be drawn and posted no later than say.....November 10th......then, when you see who you have drawn, contact that person for the mailing address and send it out.....sound good??

Keep it under a certain weight, and the postage should not be too bad. I am up for sending something worldwide.....as long as its not an anvil.

You know, Wes, you can buy four five dollar bills for only twenty dollars these days? What a country, eh? 8)

Another forum I frequent does this. In order to help handle the shipping costs, people can specify whether they are willing to ship their gift internationally or not. If not, they will only be paired with someone in their area of the world. Otherwise, the matches are pretty much random (and a surprise too)! Someone will definitely need to step forward and coordinate this though, because otherwise it tends to turn into a mess.

I'm in- I'd like to post to europe if I can, can it be something you've made or just something you've bought, It might help to know what period your 'correspondent' is to make the gift more appropriate.

Kind thoughts
